To enable Impale to coordinate with Synapse, select "Help > Advanced > Hardware configuration" from the menu on the main Impale window (usually on the upper left of the screen).
1. Select "TDT" as the "Event timer"
2. Enter the IP address of the PC running the TDT hardware and Synapse Interface.
